The McKinlay Shire Multipurpose Health Service (MPHS) at Julia Creek is a nine bed facility, with three Emergency bays, two acute beds and four `Flexi' aged care beds. The hospital provides a primary level of acute care services which include:

• An emergency services component which manages resuscitation and stabilisation prior to referral to the secondary or tertiary hospital.

The Position

Council is seeking the services of a person to fill the position of Horticulture & Town Services Officer in Longreach. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that the daily operations and maintenance requirements of all streetscapes and greenspaces are undertaken to the highest standard, including, but not limited to, main business area, public open spaces, tourist recreation areas, reserves, civic spaces, sporting fields, pedestrian and cycle ways, parks, playgrounds, botanical walkways and cemeteries.

 

Qualifications and Experience
